Dude I can name a few brands, its all up to what you got taste for. I have the Teins an by far the give the lowest drop of 2.2 in the front and 1.6 in the rear. You dont have to worry about scratching anywere because I have an 01 with a body kit and I havnt even had the problem (surpizingly) The sprints are aslo an excellent brand which are supposed to drop 2.0 all the way around but they dont, y2ksesteve's ride sites even all the way around with the sprints and hes been on the stock struts for I think 6-8 months now w/o any problem and the ride, well no complaints. If you got some $ to throw around get the JICs. Others say H&R's are good but dont drop enough, same for the maxspeeds and eibachs. If you want it to be low w/o getting ground controls get the Teins or the Sprints.

What do you mean they are lower under tires? I have the stock 17's as well. There is about 1.5 finger gap on each side (depends on how fat a persons finger are, some might say 1 finger gap ) But I have no rubbing problems or bottoming out problems what so ever. Only thing I did that you dont seem to want to do is change the struts, im riding on the Tok's but that still does not effect ride height. Honestly it stiff as hell the first 5days until it settles in and after that its just ok comfort wise.

You can get them from Maxracer27. I got mine for 170ish but I didnt have to pay shipping cuz hes like 15-20 miles away from me. You can also find them at Optauto.com for $173 + s/h if they have it in stock. Heres a more direct link.

You won't be close without coilovers or airbags. Not even remotely close. That's a 4" dump.

Actually you can get your ride to be that low w/o bags or GC's. Ill just bust out my trusty saw zaa and let er rip. Ill leave like 3 coils on each spring and ull be dumped to the floor. Although even if can get the car to move, ur gonna need to be adjusted by a chiropractor like twice a week.
