What is the TSB, TCM ??
#2
It's only from 1st to 2nd. How you can tell is if you drive uphill harder than normal, the shift will take a very long time to engage... probably around a second.
TSB stands for technical servive bulletin
TCM stands for transmission control module
Do a search on any of these and you'll find lots of info.

It's not only from 1-2 gears
It's also listed for 2-3 gears as well on the TCM. This is what I am STARTING to feel the beginning of in my '01 SE. From 2nd to third gear it kinda thumps down, SLIGHTLY (because it has worn in some and not as bad as when it was new). The TCM does not come up on the Traffic and Highway Safety board yet. punkdork received it and Paul2kGXE (i think) posted the whole thing on his web site. Check it out here and click the link and it will give you all the info you need.
