Hi. I am going to buy a used 2002 or 2003 Maxima in August, and I was wondering if you guys can help me on a few things.

1) How much should I expect to pay for a 2002 or 2003 Auto Maxima SE with about 20,000 miles on it?

2) Which versions of the SE come with the option of having the climate control?

3) Can I get leather in a White SE?

4) What kind on mileage can I expect to get around town? I don't drive agressively most of the time.

5) If I put the car on my parent's insurance, and my dad as the owner, what can I expect to pay for monthly insurance?

3) Yes, you can get leather in a white SE. That's what I have. I had the choice of blond or frost leather. My 2000 Max (for the short time I had it) was white exterior with black leather interior, which is what I really wanted in the 2k3, but they said it doesn't come in that combo anymore. Still, the frost looks sweet.

4) I assume you mean MPG. I would expect it to be around 20. Mine is at 23 right now with a mix of "around town" driving and mostly highway driving to work.

I'll do the same..

1) New 2k3s with decent options go for somewhere around $22-24k. Check sites like www.kbb.com and stick in the options you want to get a better guess.

2) If you get the leather/meridian or titanium package, those come with leather, bose, sunroof and climate control. You can't get the climate control without getting the bose and leather.

5) This varies greatly from state to state, person to person. Do some online quotes from progressive.com, geico.com, and the other insurance companies' websites. Most (if not all) of the major ones do easy quotes online now.
