Welcome! There are many people here who have dropped their car on stock struts. From what I've read, it works fine but reduces the life of the strut somewhat. The search feature is disabled but you should be able to find threads on this topic by scrolling back a few pages. I know I've seen at least one thread on this in the past week or so.

I'm on a 2" drop (sprint) springs with my stock struts for almost 18000 miles. I have no problems at all and the ride is great.

How is the ride? How long have you had the Teins on the stock struts?

Here are some pics of sprint springs and stock struts. Lots more cornering and overall tightness...a little bumpier obviously. Love the amount of drop though...18"rim 245/40 tire

Hey, I have Maxspeeds on my stock struts. If you have an SE (or for me, the Touring model) I think the stuts will hold better with aftermarket springs than with the struts of the GXE/GLE.
