Tein STech, need camber bolts?

My Tein S.Tech springs will arrive today or tomorrow, along with a used Courtesy Nissan FSTB.

Will I need camber bolts in order to avoid too much negative camber?

If so, will it be bad enough that I shouldn't install the springs until I have the bolts in hand?

I know this is probably frequently asked, but it doesn't appear to be in the FAQ and search isn't available...

Thanks!

One more thing...

Also, is there a particular brand or place to get them that is recommended? Or any to stay away from?

Thanks!!!

You will definitely need camber bolts with that serious of a drop (2.2 inches, right?).

Maybe Southwest Auto Works has them?

$86 for some bolts?

http://www.ptuning.com/html/Item-Des...delDesc=Maxima

$86 for a set of bolts... that seems kind of high, no? Does anyone have any rec's or thoughts on pricing and where to buy?

Thanks!

I bought the Eibach camber bolts and didn't need them. I took the car to NTB with the bolts for my aligmnent, I got my camber bolts back without them being installed and my camber is -0.5 degrees. So you're all set with not getting camber bolts. I was suprised I didn't need them.

I did not order camber bolts for my install. I will see how the alignment goes and post back. Install isn't for 2 weeks, though.

Springs arrived today. Will be installing them Saturday w/o camber adjusting bolts. Will post results, hopefully with pics if I can get my hands on a digital cam.

According to TEIN, you do not need the camber bolts. I can't confirm this yet, because my springs haven't arrived.

What about bump stops?

The (limited) instructions that come with the springs include a table with values for how much rubber to cut off the bump stops.

Do people actually do this?

You guys don't need camber bolts. I bought them and didn't need them. My camber in the front is -0.5 degree's. So you are all set. Everyone with Tien S. Tech Springs does not need camber bolts. (for the 5th gen at least... I don't even think they make 4th gen's yet)

Cool, thanks for the input. How about bump stops? Did you guys trim them down as recommended then?

I didnt do mine but do trim them, it wont really cause any serious problems. It just helps absorbe the last bit of impact incase you bottom out. I would still say trim them but you wont notice any differance.

I had Eibach's on before the Tien's. So I didn't change anything with my bump stops when I put the new springs on.
