gonna get my windows tinted this week..and Im still undecided on whice tint to get..I know for sure it'll be 30% all around...Ive narrowed my choices to charcoal, black, and mirror...just wanted to know your opinions on which would look better...heres some pics of my Max..

ya I think black or charcoal would be my best bet..Im gonna probably get it done today, will post pics...

 

charcoal or black you can never go wrong with those colors. If you were able to get the Lexus mirror tint I would also got with that, but I was told that those window have to be baked or something like that, and if you don't go with the Lexus mirror most mirror tint dose not come with a 100% warranty. So I would go with the charcoal or black.

 

get a full 100% metallic titanium (mirrored) tint if its legal and if you can find it. Llumar makes the film and it looks SWEEEEEEEET!!

 

I would tint the windshield as well, it makes a big difference, and you can barely tell that its tinted. Check out my homepage for pics.

 

Most often alot of people will consider mirror tint to be ghetto, but with those wheels, no harm done.

 

What I think is ghetto is those half mirror faded into black tints..If anyone has these tints on this forum please take no offense, This is just my opinion.

 

get this tint...you have the BEST color max ever made!!! This is charcoal.



as for those rims....

 

Charcoal metallic - I used Solar Gard HP Charcoal, which I really like (dark, and just a little reflective). There are bunch of threads on this (does search work yet?).

20% all around. I do wish I would have gone darker. Most Cops won't mess with you for 20% IMO.

 

Yeah here in Los Angeles you'll get pulled for 18% all around. I don't know about Virginia. Are radar detectors illegal in VA, or is it MD, I know it's one of those states... That must suck

 

well I ended up doing 30% smoke tint all around, I was gonna go with charcoal but they showed me how both would look and I like smoke because it was darker...it looks a lot cleaner with the tint, its like you would never know tint could make a big difference in the appearence of your car...

Neal728: the legal limit in VA is "supposed" to be 55% in the front and 35% in the rear...and yes radar detectors are illegal here too..it pretty much sucks but once you get used to knowing where cops hide out, its just common sense where to speed and not to speed..

 

I've gone 18% all around, but because its reflective metallic at night it looks like 35%... Looks amazing with my max's color as well... I've never tinted any of my cars with metallic tint but I highly recommend it.. Black interior sitting in the sun? Its still cool to get into! Whereas the dyed stuff doesn't block out nearly as well....
