I was trying to take out the front lights from my 2000 Maxima GXE. I only saw the 2 bolts on top of the lights. But after I took those off, I couldn't take off the lights. I couldn't find any other bolts..Please help..

Does anyone have derection of how to do it...

Also, the reason I am taking them off, is that the regular light doesn't work. However, the highbeams work..Any ideas..

you know what? you probably need to replace the bulb...which means you don't have to take the whole assembly out...

um.. it sounds like you have a problem with the headlamp bulb, and not the assembly. check your manual on how to replace your headlamp bulb.

d'oh. irvine beat me to it. o well, maybe since you have to replace your bulbs anyways, you might as well upgrade to piaa superwhites or some other aftermarket bulb.

Thanks guys.

I ordered 9004 XENON 100/80w from ebay for like $16. Are this good or maybe there is something different you would recomend.

with the higher output, i reccomend you upgrade to the apc wiring harness (~$40 at autodynamic.com) to prevent your stock harness from frying. what brand are the bulbs you bid on?

Uhm... Assuming you have a 5th Gen that's why you posted your question on this forum... The 5th Gen's use H4 bulbs not 9004s. And see the Owner's Manual on how it's replaced, it's really easy, but weird to explain.
