I love the sound. Not too loud. Nice and deep sounding. Not any drone either. Check out the homepage for more pics.

I am grinning from ear to ear. Opinions?

Very nice! I think it looks great.

I'm about to take the plunge myself and have been looking at the PowerTech, a dual tipped Magnaflow, and a dual tipped Hayame. Do you have an aftermarket B pipe and/or Y pipe? I'll probably do those at the same time, so I'm wondering how the PowerTech would sound with those in place.

BTW, did the PowerTech come with hangers installed, or did you have to get hangers put on when you had it installed?

Great mod. I'm thinking about the same, but want to run 2 1/2" piping back from the cat and into a 2 1/2" inlet muffler. Did you replace your B-pipe or anything, or are you using a 2 1/4" inlet on the muffler?

I am very happy with the PowerTech. The complaints about the Drone with the MagnaFlow scared me off. I don't have any noticable drone. Atleast not loud enough to annoy me. I currently have no Y or B pipe.

They welded the hangers onto the muffler. I got it installed for $40 so I was pretty satisfied.

I have the PT 1012, same as above but with dual 4" tips. It's so nice, almost no drone at idle, only loud btw 2K and 2.5K for some reason, rest of RPMs it sounds so nice. I would definitely reccomend any Powertech over other brands for the price.

Powertech Muffler = 140.00 Installed
GAB = 10.00 w/o K&N, 50.00 w/ K&N

Seeing a tiny "H" ornament in my rear-view = Priceless

Thanks man!! I was logging on to post a question to see if anyone has the PT1011 installed with pics. And by George if the first thing I see isn't pics of the exact exhaust I want on the same year and color car that I have.

Well anyway, thanks for reading my mind!!

By the way, you just cost me $100+ since I will for sure be getting the PT1011.

I promise that you will not regret it. Well, you might because my gas mileage is going to go to crap. I love hearing the sound. I basically drove to work with my windows down and radio off just listening to the sound.

The Dial 3.5s won't fit? I knew the Dual 4s wouldn't, but was hoping the 3.5s might. Darn.

What do you guysy use to keep the muffler shiny? Just carwash soap or a Stainless Steel polish?

Went with the big boys huh? I was so worried about it being too big and that is why I went with the 3.5s. Then I opened the box and was like Dang these tips are huge. Then I installed it and said dang these look great and maybe dual 4s would be better. I am happy with the dual 3.5s though.

How does this muffler sound on a 3.0 compared to the 3.5 engine? Hmm maybe I'll get one of these over the summer and sell my GReddy. How does the Powertech compare to the GReddy in terms of exhaust note?
