2002 maxime Speaker Help

i am looking to change my speakers in the car to give a slightly better sound, i have non - bose system. can i just buy any 6.5" speakers for all 4 doors and they will fit, or i need to look for specific speakers

the fronts are 6 1/2" and the back is 5 1/4" but 6 1/2" can fit all the way around.

sure,but if you want better sound, better change the stereo and add a sub

you will have to put a couple extra holes in the doors. the way the speakers are built. it's one peice. so when you take them out nothing else fits in the holes from the stock speakers.

I put 6 1/2" in all four of my doors. You have to completely destroy the stock speakers and use the bracket for the new speakers, but who cares. Get two sets of 6 1/2" speakers.

Not unless you buy 6 3/4" speakers. You will have to drill new holes, but they fit perfectly.
