Starting and getting security light

Hi,
I have a 2003 se and sometimes when I try to start my car
It won't turn over and the security light comes on.
any ideas what this might be?

I had this happen to me before, I kicked the Passenger side airbag really hard and it stopped doing it. Not sure if it will work for you but it did wonders for me.

No its real, Look try this, fill up your tank with 87 octane, and then p i s s in it. It turns it in to 100 octane race fuel. Immediate gain of 15 hp. You gotta believe me on this one badading.

Alright. I'll believe you. As long as you admit to posting worthless stuff and being as immature as you acuse others as being.

Does the urine go in before or after the 87 octane ?

Ok first off, I joke around once in a while (just like everyone does). 2nd, I wouldnt use immature because this is basically how it works. Im here to have a good time, To discuss about maxima's and bla bla bla. But dude I hate it when some Dic* comes around messes the whole thread up to be a Dic*. So if your gonna come and be a Dic*. Dude i will put you down. Like I said its ok to come around and joke, but theres a limit. I dont wanna mention anynames but everytime I post, the same DIC*'s come around and start talking SHI*. If your gonna be a Dic* to me, Ill be twice as bad with you. Done Deal.

Do you have any additional stuff on your keyring that might interfere (keyfobs, elctronic pass keys, etc.) that might be interfering with the 'smart chip' in your key being recognized?

Well to rule out or confirm it being the key. Try using the second key that came with the car for a while and see if you still have the problem.

I had a key go bad in my 96 Max, it was replaced on the spot no questions asked. And If I remember right it started out intermittent.
