Eaglite Fog Lite Failure
Eaglite Fog Lite Failure
After less than a year, one of my Eaglite Xenon fogs that I bought from Midnight Moose is toast.
No damage, no projectile rock explosion, just died.
I'm a little less than impressed with this -- and the color was NOT nearly close-enough to the HID's as I wanted it to be.
My suggestion: you get what you pay for, $25.00 pr.
Don't waste your money.
I'm off to the bulletins to try and make sense of what is the DEFINITIVE color match replacement for these silly things!
Anybody care to touch THAT ONE with a ten foot-pole????????????
If I didn't just get done blowing $650 on motorcyle gear today, I'd THINK about a set of REAL HID fogs....!!
Ok, maybe not! They'd probably just get stolen....

They are basically an exact match when put into driving light housings. I think the stock fog housings distort the true color of the PIAAs a little.
Btw. I've got a pair of the Eaglites in my Max's high beams and 2 pairs (HI LOW) in another car for over a year. Guess I'm lucky or somethin..
Hey, what's up ghost?
I haven't had any problems... but I agree with you. The color is kind of off. I've had them for over a year, but rarely turn them on. Careful with high wattage bulbs. Some people have had issues with them. Stick to the factory recommended wattage & you should be fine. I'd like to toss my Eaglite H3 & 9005 and pickup something else (Eurolites maybe) to eliminate the BLUE lens color (at least for the 9005 bulbs)
