Aftermarket MAF

A while back (2/28/03), STUDMAN posted that he was working on a side project.
Was there a follow-up to this thread?

"That's part of my surprise that is coming up. I've got a company working on an aftermarket MAF as we type. No details will be released until I test it in mid-March. I'm leaving home on the 14th and will return on the 23rd. I should have results by the time I get back."

The cheap MAF is for the '00'-01s. The AM600 is still $390!

If studman were online he would reply in an instance. I'm sure he'll be around here soon & let us know what the deal is. I too would like an alternative to the stock MAF or even just a simple midpipe w/MAF hole like the Firm Fabrications intake.
