LSD for my 2k3

Can i have the dealer install a factory helical LSD on my maxima?

I don't think so. If yes, then I imagine it will be very pricey.

Someone may be able to correct me on this (I'm not very bright )

I've asked this question myself and, yes, apparently it can be done but will cost alot more than $400(factory installed price). All that is required(according to on of the previous respondants) is to put in the HLSD and and another part(gear of some sort?) and that is it. If anybody gets the factory one put in after the fact, let us know, the details(especially the price).

It's the labor that will cost a lot. Dealer will probably charge you like $500 labor because they have to remove the tranny. And the part probably cost another what $800? So I'd think it be over 1G job..

Yeah they can do it but ti will cost alot mroe to buy than the $400 upgrade. I wouldn't be suprised if they charged you $1000 alone for the parts.

I think there is a group deal on this or a test for demand. I think maxximum tuning needs 10 ppl for a price of $300+. Parts and install was quoted $965+, and it was said to be 20% better than phantom grip.

dealer install will kill you.
