Clear bra and winter?

Are you supposed to leave the clear bra on come winter time?

The difference between the clear bra and normal bras is that your clear bra cost 10X as much and it sticks on nice and tight on the hood so no bugs, dirt, sand salt can get through and mess up the paint.. Fade..etc.
