I was driving 65mph on CA-60W today, there was a S2000 pulled next to me and showed me some sound of his car...voom voom...Then he hit it....and i pulled it also. When i pulled to 80, my rear wheel was at his front bumper. We both pulled to 125mph and shut it down. I pulled about 6 cars away from him. It was a totally great damn smoked.

 

The S2000's are slow.. There quick off the line since it's rwd and light.. But after 2nd gear I just begin to pull.. On a roll from 40mph forget about it.. It's like 20 cars

Stillen Hiflow, Cattman Ypipe and Greddy Evo. I wanna teach him a lesson so he starts respecting the max....lemme know

 

since your a 5spd it'll a pretty good match-up. But the S2000 is light and has more HP so I dunno.. Will be close I think.

 

i dunno bout u ***** but I've raced plenty o' cars on there in my day and neither of us scraped!

if we all meet up on franny one night, thats the strip to hit after we parlay on franny for a minute.....we can all race on there and no cops ever on it!

you could hit a good 120 with no cars-and it goes for quite aways until East NY....except once we eat East NY, we gonna have to turn around with a quickness cuz they gonna steal our rides over there!!

Don't even think about it off the line. On the highway, you'll smoke him like Dave Chappelle in Half Baked.

 

I always thought that s2000's were slow off of the line unless you drop the clutch at a very abusive 6000rpm.

I also thought that they were highway monsters. 240 hp at around 9k rpm.

Basically, the exact opposite of what you guys said.

 

I have a 2K2 6SPD and my brother has an S2000. I can tell you that from 0-80 both cars are nearly equally fast. Of great importance is that the S2000's engines take a very long time to break in and they get much faster as they break in. Unless your Maxima is modded or the S2000 is relatively new, I would be surprised to see anyone blowing an S2000 out of the water.

 

Once Vtech kicks in they do pull. Then then again their revving to like 9K where they hit there max power..

 

I remember racing an S2000 at the hangouts down here in miami. We raced from a rolling start. Up to about 3rd gear I had a bumper on him then he pulled half a car on me and the race ended. All he had was an intake. I was in shock cause I thought he was gonna destroy me. Those cars are pretty fast. At this time I didnt have the GAB mod on. Not sure if it would have made any difference.

PCGuru has more HP than a S2K.
