Installation Instruction problems

I was out on the Installation Instruction thread and many of the instruction guides that have external links do not work. I specifically noticed all the instructions linked to boostedmaximas.com don't link properly.

Who is responsible for ensure that these links are valid and working? Frustrated....

Thanks.

I was out trying to the get the re-wire instructions for both the fog lights and side markers. I was able to get the instructions for the fogs, but ran into issues when trying to access boostedmaximas.com for the side markers.

I have had issues before out on this thread when I was browsing....there are other external links (besides boostedmaximas) not working. We really need to keep this updated to be effected.

Fog light re-wrie

Well if you have a 2K2 or 2K3, Russ' install instructions completely suck.

I forgot who posted the pic but you don't have to run any wires out of the relay box. Just cut the blue/silver-dash wire attached to the fog relay, and terminate the lead. Then tap that wire into the red/green-stripe wire under the tail-lamp relay. Presto. Fog lights work perfectly.

Do you think that holds true for the '01 Maxima's??

I'm a beginner at this and really don't want to f*ck sh*t up on my car, if I can help it....lol.

It only makes sense that you should be able to tap the wire under the relay box, instead of running a wire to the headlight harness... You just need to find out which wire off of the tail light relay has 12v when the lights areturned on.
