MAF update - doable with an AT?
Sorry about the double post.. must be the server.
I went to the dealership today to make an appointment about the hesitation which I feel (<1 second while WOT'ing at about 2200 RPM). The only problem is, the TSB says that it's for a manual transmission. Will the dealer still fix it? (they said to bring it in, they'll test it and if the TSB fits the problem, they'll replace the MAF) Did anyone on here have that problem with an A/T and had the MAF replaced anyway? Thanks.

Yes, I had mine replaced yet I am not sure I experienced the same type of problem. It kinda felt like the lost of hp. I did not notice any big improvement but yet they did replace it. They called it a Air Flow meter.
I have a 2002 se auto.

Go here: http://maxima.theowensfamily.com/tsb/ and look for the NTB03-023 bulletin. Make them check the ECU firmware as per the bulletin.
