Annoying seat noise - the real post
(first off the other two annoyingly empty posts were created by the .org, not by me being a computer gimp)
I've noticed an incredibly annoying noise in my car that is literally driving me to the edge of insanity...
It seems to be coming out of the passenger seat (leather)... almost like a vibrating or rattling from within the seat every time I hit a crack in the road. However, it doesn't do this when someone is sitting in the seat or when I put even the slightest pressure on it with my hand while driving...
Anyone else have this, or do I have to drive around with a cement block on the seat when I have no passengers?

That happened to my passenger seat as well from having sexual intercourse. You might wanna check the bolts to see if theyre tight. I had to tighten mines..
I have this problem with my driver's side seat, and I agree, it is making me go insane. Well, that and a rattle in the A-piller somewhere. Doesn't it seem like a safety issue that the bolts holding the seat down are making noises? I mean, they need to withstand a crash and what not, a little discerning in my eyes.

Holy shiot!
I can't believe this... Ever since last weekend, my passenger-side seat (leather) is making some 'rattling' noise everytime I hit a bump. It does it only on "left-to-right" motions (not front to back motions).
Turns out, I had someone drive my car last night and I sat in the passenger seat. Weirdly enough, I traced it to the back of the seat. Everytime I'd hit the seat on the left or right side it would make that same noise.
Nonetheless, I moved my power seats up an inch and back, and it hasn't done it since.
Fixed for now...

Try this
Take some leather cleaner condtioner stuff and put the passenger side seat all the way reclined. Condition the spot where the seats meet when they are in the upright position, this should make the porblem go away, its because the leather is too dry.
