Has your car TOTALLY settled??? How long ago did you switch to the teins?? SOrry if you've already answered this....

I can't take this -- I'm going back and forth between the Max's and the Tein's on a DAILY BASIS!!!

DOooooHHH!!

gr
It will be one week ago tonight at 10:30 when we finshed the install I think they are settled, i put over 300 miles on them already..

Well, do the Teins, the maxspeeds just dont do it for me. unless you want that "I'm almost lowered looK" To each his own. You have pics to help make your decision. I only seen one car on Teins and i was sold. You have me and HITMAN pics, so you have a good idea as to how they look...

Here is a side shot to help with your decision...

Not for nothing, but I think that drop looks perfect. Now if I can only figure out what springs you have? Is it Teins? I'm getting confused.

If you put 18"s on there, will it fill that well up or will it just push the suspension 1/2" higher?

YOu're THE MAN!

I think I made the mistake not factoring-out HITMANs body kit. It makes it look lower than it is.

Noticed you have the BlowTenzas on still too....
I'm on those as well - but I'm planning on going to 235/45/17 when the time comes. Hence - i will give-up a little more wheel gap eventually.

NOw for that GD on the TEINS...!!!

Yes, i have the Teins. And the drop is perfect, as Hitman said there is only a .25" difference between the front and rear, thats as close as you are going to get.

As for going with the 18s, the car wont sit higher becuase i am going from 225/50/17s to 235/40/18s, so the rim and tire setup will be the exact same height...

Actually, I like how the gap is even all the way around my wheels. I don't need it any lower, but to each his own.

Well, are you guys looking to lower or SLAM your car. I had a slammed Stang and I cant begin to tell you what a pain in the *** it is . I think my max could go a 1/2 inch lower all around, and I would be ok. I can have 5 people in my car as is, with my 19's and 245's and no rubbing, unless I hit a huge dip. To each his own, but our sig pics will help you make an educated decision .

doesnt the wheel gap look the same though having a dropped front and raised back? I have Eibach pro kits on mine and the back was tucked in with the drop and hte front had like a 2 finger gap. so what i did was put the stock springs back on the back to make the gaps even. now both front and back have a 2 finger gap on them.

These pictures prove it all. If you want the look go with Eibach or Maxspeed. If you want the lowered look get Teins.

you're ridiculous. who are you to criticize another man's ride by calling it gay? some people don't drop their cars more than 1.5 inches becuase they dont' want to look like ricer honda boys.

I have had 5people in the car and have had absolutly no issues with scraping, or rubbing. Well I dont have wider tired so I cant say it wont rub wiht 19's with 245 series tires on. Maybe on a huge dip like you said but thats normal with wider tires and would happen with any spring. My car is LOW not slammed, I consider slammed 4" or less of ground clearance. It might not look like it but I have a 5.5" clearance at the lowest point on my car. Its enough to allow me to go up driveways, bumps, ect... w/o any problems.

Ok this has now gotten out of hand, bro this is gonna turn out to be a looooong @ss argument.

Young04: that is one of the dumbest things ive ever heard of, did you see me dissing other peoples cars? sayin I dont like them NO. Now Teins are rice? wtf kind of statment is that? Bottom line is if you want the lowest drop get Teins, this is not a debate of springs or whos ride is what.

To every1 here, get whatever springs you like. I personally think the Teins give the best drop period, but if you would like to get maxspeed or whatever brand then so be it. Kloogys ride as an example is sweet with his current setup, if he wants is lower then he can make it lower but either way its sweet.

So almost all....uhhh man dont get me started

Any1 could put anything into their ride and like it, as long as the owner likes it then thats all that matters.

OoOoOoo... you're cool now. STFU. I didn't want to compromise ride quality which is really important to me. And I saved money for other mods.

Have you been in a car with Teins, Eibachs or Maxspeeds.....didn't think so. Well, I have. The Teins have the best ride quality out of all and the ride is not much harder than stock. U R now
Also how much $ are you saving?

no, i didn't see you dissing anybody. that's why i wasn't talking to YOU. you'll notice that i was responding to classicdriver's post. notice in the post that i said that YOU (classicdriver) are ridiculous, not that you GUYS (the guys with tiens) are ridiculous.

i was calling him ridiculous because he said that kloogy's car was scroll up and take a look.

i dont think tiens are rice, but i also don't think it's appropriate to call maxspeeds and eibachs (and another person's car) gay either.

Ok guys -- lets drop it.

I am REALLY enjoying the conversation MINUS the bs, since I'm REALLY trying hard to decide between MS and TEINS right now.

Thanks a million to 92SE, HITMAN, MAXIMAN, KLOOGY, and all the others who have chimed-in their two cents on their setups.

They're ALL sweet!! And like Kloogy said -- it only matters if YOU LOVE it.

I think it's awesome that I can benfit from everyone's efforts to get my ride as cool as theirs!!!

There's my positive thoughts for the day....now you youngsters stop the bickering!!

I'm going to the superbike races in Atlanta today....my OTHER LOVE!!!

This has turned into a unique conversation. Personally if you are slammed like myself, I do not consider that rice. Does my car look like rice...umm NO! the ride quality will change wih lowering springs no matter what. The ride with coilovers really aint that bad as I have stated many times before. Personally, I'd go with Teins over Maxspeeds because i like it low. This comes down to a matter of opinion.

PS..for example...while trying to back into my friends driveway...this happens...

No1 has heard about it cuz some people dont give a damn to post about it only to have people they dont know criticize them. Im not pointing the finger at you man, this is for every1 in general with their attitude toward noobs.
