Powertech vs Magnaflow mufflers

Does anybody have any suggestions or sound clips of the Magnaflow vs Powertech mufflers. I have a 2K SE and this will be my next Mod. How hard are they to install by yourself or is it best to get a muffler shop to install?

Thanks

I love my powertech. There is also a group deal on the one I bought which will save you atleast $50 over the magnaflow. Neither will give you any gains. Buy the one that you think looks the best. There is also very little drone on the Powertech compaired to some mufflers I have heard.

You will need a muffler shop to install. It will require a small pipe with a bend and some welding. I only paid 40 to install.

Did they cut (the piping) of your original muffler or is it still in one whole piece???

Well it all depends how its gonna sound (Y-Pipe equipped is louder) The powertech is definetly not as deep as the magnaflow. I can get a soundclip of my magnaflow but ill tell you this, at idle it sounds like a v8. Its deep though, really deep. Too deep to be honest.

My powertech also sounds like a V8 at Idle. But once you punch it, it sounds like a BMW on crack.

Is a BMW on crack a good thing?

I have clips of my cattman exhaust also. The cattman is quieter than HitmanSE's Magnaflow muffler and full exhaust.
