timing question

i'm bringing my car in this week for some touch up work. are dealers willing to adjust your car's timing? if so, does it cost anything? what should i have it set to? thanks.

Nice car! Some dealers will, some won't. Some charge and some don't. If you know someone there that's cool you can prolly get it done free. It's always good to have friends in low places......

And yes, it does make a difference. You can only bump it to 17 degrees BTDC. I don't think I would pay more than $50 for it. Beyond that it gets above the $/HP ratio.
