I had no idea that you are so concerned whether or not people approve of your choice to purchase an automatic. I have the right (and will exercise it) to note my personal preference when and where ever I want. I acknowledge the fact that you don't like to drive a stick and am glad you did not buy one. You've taken what was meant as a joke and turned it into a flame war....but I'm not fighting back.
For the record, let me leave you with this:
Some people like automatic transmission, some like manual.
There is nothing wrong with your choice or mine so let's stop already.
