So much dealer work.
So much dealer work.
Guys, man, these guys are gunna do alot to my car.
They have to change the passenger side window motor, because the automatic up feature is not working.
They balanced all my wheels.
They are doing the ECU upgrade and changing the MAF sensor.
They are changing my Left drive shaft, bearing, control arm, strut assembly, cause they are not completely sure where the problem is.....
Just thought I'd mention it.

I get that on the passenger side front, especially when cold and turning.
For me, it does it when im turning in and out of parking lots that have curbs for example. My driveway....I was very lucky. When I went to teh dealer, I said please bring out the shop foreman, cause hes good. he came, and let me drive, which was a shock, other mechanics want to drive. So we found this muddy parking parking lot near a park. The perfect spot, all I did was let the car roll, and voila, the car was bouncing and it was making a symphany of noise from the left front end....Plus, my bearings started to tick when I start to accelerate.

Almost sounds like the Universal Joint (CV?) is going bad on the passenger side when turning left under power.
Like a metallic ticking or light grinding/clunking.
The bad part is that it's not BAD, and it's not easy to reproduce.
I had the thought that this was under the Control Arm TSB, but the dealer keeps telling me that mine was not affected.
I'm horrified that we're ALL having this problem.
Add this to the list of things they're going to be checking on my next visit.
If anyone else has any suggestions on what to do with this, i'm ALL ears!

Well, cv joint, control arm, bearing, driveshaft, strut and bushings can all make similar sounds. Ticking sounds on stop acceleration usual means bearings, or ticking when making a turn. Knocking sound when turning and accelerating usually means cv joint. Im pretty sure my problem is the bearings and strut itself. But, they siad they are changing the entire front left assembly. strut, arm, shaft.....oh well.
Damn it!
