I have a gxe 02 auto.. I ran it with gtech and got 14.7 to 14.8 or so, might not be the most accurate, but we'll see...

I noticed one thing(stock), for 4th gen 5spd VS auto, their times on avg have more 1/2 a second difference in the 1/4 mile

15.1 - 15.3 VS an auto of 15.7 to 16 or so

for the 02/03 max, most of the manual times I've seen, timeslips on this board are: 14.5 14.6 compared to the auto, which is 14.7 to 14.9s

why is the difference soo little, espeically for a 6spd to 4spd?

Im already planning to get the intake, UDP,racepipe.. I want HIGH 13s in street trim with the acception of better tire PSI and no spare/jack

does anyone have the VB mod? and ECU? (im considerin these mods)

how much? and well do they work?

uhm, what ECU are you talking about?.. If you want high 13s, it's going to take quite a bit more than an intake UDP and racepipe. Even with every bolt on it'll be pretty hard. As for your question regarding the times, the auto tranny in the 2k2+ is probably just more efficent.

 

I hit 13's with just intake and UDP...............and slicks

 

IIRC, Torque has a lot to do with it. Can't remember the exact reason but i do remember reading such a discussion about it about a year ago.

 

how much is the VB mod, as i read they say it can cut up to 0.4secs?

 

In my opinion you wont really see much gain at the track with the VB mod unless your tranny is slipping way too much.
