Retrofitting Hid's into Foglights?

I got a hold of some Hid stuff from a crashed 02 Maxima.
The headlights were shut but the wiring, ballasts, starters look OK. Not sure about the bulbs.
Is there a way to use this stuff in fogs??
How expencive, what else would I need??
Anyone tried this!

Dunno dude. I've seen something on HID foglights lately, but I'll be damned if I can remember where I saw it.

There was a PDF writeup, but I can't find the link.

Definetly let me know.
I think the Hids would look awesome in a projector style fog light.
I'll try to look for some 2.5 inch projector fogs and try to put the Hid's in them.

Its just a matter of getting the bulbs to stay in the housing. If you can do that then it'll fit and work.

I've thought about that too. Also you may want to think about putting another set in your hi-beams and have a full HID setup.
