Dashboard clock

What's crackin' Org. members,
Someone on the Org. was able to disable thier dim feature on the dash clock (the feature that dims the clock when the paking lights are on). How did they do it? I want to do the same with my clock.

on my 2k2, if you tur nthe dimmer switch all the way, to its birghtest, then it will click that means that the dash clock radio and a/c will not dim when the lights are on

dont know if that helps or not

I just did it on my 2001, it should be the same on your 2003. Pop the clock out carefully, and disable the red wire with blue stripe any way you see fit. If you are mechanicly inclined you can pull out the little harness and pull the entire wire out of the harness without any damage or cutting of wires. I did this so I could return it to normal if I ever chose to. Then just tape up the exposed
end(s) and enjoy!

ok update appears i was a bit wrong

on my 2k2 the clock will not dim even with the lights on and the dimmer switch does not affect it, the dash board itself will dim even at the birghtest setting

but i was right about the radio and A/C if you put the dimmer on the highest setting(make it click) the a/c and radio wont dim and will stay bright at night

hope that helps
