just in the e-mail i recieved fro mthem they CLEARLY told me that although they appreciate my inquiry they are only working on patricular states right now, i think Pennsylvania is one of them.
i dont doubt that if it does go though that Nissan will cover me. just from what the law firm replied to me is that i am not part of their lawsuit
I'm in Maryland too, so what? The lawyer does not have to practice in all states. They "outsource" the litigation to local counsels, and get their cut. Looks like they are counting the number of cars per state where they want to bring up the suit, to make it feasible. Jeepik, where did you buy your car?? Does the lawsuit apply to 2k2/2k3 also? I thought only 2k-2k1

they told me that the State of Maryland is not part of the litigation.
What states are covered? by the way, yiou need not be licensed in a state to handle class action litigation that involved claims in that state. You can even file in a state where you;re not licensed with permission of the court. Pro Hac Vice. Thats what guys Like Johnny Cochran do. Anyone have teh email address for the law firm in this litigation. Thanks.

I just bought a 2003. Its got only 500 miles on it. I wonder if I should go on their website and give my information? I live in New Jersey and I think that is one of the states they are covering. What do you guys think?

I gave up on the whole paint litigation. I took my car in a couple of weeks ago, the dealership filed a claim, which we knew was going to be rejected. When it finally did come back as rejected (even thought the paint chips turned into a paint peeling problem), the dealership "good willed" it and paid to have my car repainted.
One thing I did learn is that dealerships get so much money to do "good will" work. You should check into it. The service mgr made mention of it, and I was like "huh?" and the inspector said "you get so much money per month to perform good will jobs. if you can do this with the money, go for it.". You should try that lean on them.
