I just bought a 2k 5 speed and encountered something weird.. The car idles fine, but when I press the gas pedal very slightly the RPM's jump to 1600 and it's impossible to have a gradual increase So I was wondering if anyone knew what that could be. I talked to a mechanic at Nissan and he said it was the variable valvle timing, but I have doubts.. I'm thinking some TSB might apply. I'd greatly appreciated some info. thanks
