it depeneds on the driver..
the way i drive my 6 speed.. yo ucoudl beat me probably by 6 car lengths. I mean i baby it like nobody else, and havent mastered the clutch yet, thats what happens when you drive a Jeep for 7 years with a broke *** clutch

I have a 5-spd 4th gen but I want an '03 6spd soon.

Well I have a 2003 SE Auto, I actually raced a 96 Maxima 5-spd. We raced from start to about 85 mph(that's when I decided to shut it down) at which point I had about 3 cars on him.

Lock your wheel toward the 6sp and ram him as the race starts ...

I have owned both. The six speed is definitely a lot faster. Not only do you have more power, but when you shift, you are put in the sweet spot in every gear. With the five speed, you go into the new a gear a bit low in the RPMs. The 6 spd also gets to around 45 in 1st. I dont remember what the old one did, but it was less.

45 in 1st? Are you sure? Sounds a bit much.
