lowering springs

I'm looking to lower my stock 2k2 SE. I just want to get rid of all that spacing between body and tires. What are the best springs to get? I don't know much about springs... so keep this in mind, I'm looking for some major advice. I want to drop the car about 1.5-2", but I think 2" might be a bit much, not sure. How much better are Eibachs compared to others? I don't mind a stiff ride, but I'm hoping to increase the handling as well as the appearance of Maxine. Please help. Thanks in advance.

If you want like 1.8-2" then get the teins

Sprint springs are nice. I've been on them with OEM struts for 20k miles.

Re: lowering springs

I'm getting the impression that all the springs available for the 5th gens are good springs and works well with any struts. Although, each has their minor drop difference and ride quality.

I have the maxspeed with stock struts, even drop, stock-like ride, slight improved handling. Very satisfied. Price is unbeatable compared to the competition.

Good luck.

H&R has a nice comfortable ride, drop looks nice..handling is defintley nice. i think H&R are the most expensive sport springs out there, but you pay what you get for.
people said Sprint is harsh and i am pretty sure that the stock struts/shocks wont hold it because the drop is big.

If you put H&Rs or Maxspeeds, the stock struts/shocks should be fine.

Sprint is not harsh by ANY means. Handling went up and the ride was very smooth. Not to mention it gives the drop that 5th gens need. Sprint or Tein would be my recommendation.
