Side Marker Rewire???

Ok I read the instructions for the rewire for the side markers and I understand it....but does this apply to the 2k2 max. As I recall there are only two wires going to the blinker, not three. I figured out how to do it, but it involves relays and such. Not too difficult but if there is a simpler way please enlighten me. Also is there a way to make the turn signals and sidemarkers alternate even with the headlights off? Thanks for the help.

BTW, Just got Michelin Pilots.......What a difference!!! Definitely worth the $$$.

Can't you just tap the "+" from the blinkers to the sidemarkers?

Electrical engineers fool with Gaussian fields and binary code, not trivial wiring diagrams. As Mr. Sam is a mechanical engineer, I would imagine he would be plenty equiped to deal with simple relays and such.
