I searched for any previous posts about this but could not find any. My wife's 2000 Max was totaled 2 weeks ago (she's OK), ironically by a pickup owned by a Nissan dealer. Anyway, we got the insurance settlement and bought a 2001 Max. I still have one of the remote fobs from the 2000 and the salesman told my wife how to program it for the 2001, but we can't seem to get it right. Does anyone know the procedure? Its something like putting the key in the ignition, pressing the button until the lights flash, opening the door, closing the door. Thanks in advance for responses.
