He has v-tec, but it's not the same type of v-tec that Honda puts in it's 4 cylinders. I believe it's only sohc v-tec, which is nothing special. Those years I believe the v-6 only 160hp or maybe thats on the old accord v6's. Anyways, you should kill him. Torque wins.

An Acura 3.0CL pushes 200 horses, but your still safe. they do 0-60 in 7.8 seconds, I don't know quarter mile times.

As a 99 owner, I find your comments somewhat insulting. You say that a mid-15 second car will keep up with us, but your mighty 02 will slaughter it. I run consistent 14.8's in 70+ degree weather. Corrected for elevation, I run consistent 14.5's. :attention: Yes the 02-03 model is faster but give us some credit. On the same level with a automatic-only V6 acorn, WTF?

eazy buddy....i am definitely not insulting anyone's car here...i am just talking from experience....stock to stock...are u saying a v6 accord....200hp....can't keep up to your 99? or a 2000?

Bluebird, most stock 2K1 and older Maximas do not run under 15 seconds. Stock vs stock, auto vs auto the 6G Accord V6 can more than hold its own against a 2K1- Maxima.

Peace.

I'm not disrespecting the Maxima. (Geez!! I have 2002 Maxima SE that I thoroughly enjoy.) To the contrary, it sounds like there's some disrespecting of Accords. In your instance, you should be able to beat a 3.0CL, given your mods. However, if you were stock, it would be a draw (all other factors being even).

Peace.
