PIAA/Polarg bulb question...

Good Morning!

My '03 SE owner's manual says that the front and rear turn signal bulbs are T20 (7440 type) rated at 21W, single filament, while the tail/stop lights use T20 (7443 type) rated at 21/5W, dual filament. The PIAA Xtreme white models are listed as 27W and 27/8W, respectively. Is the higher rating OK or is there any danger of frying something? By contrast the equivalent Polarg Hyperwhite bulbs are rated equivalent to stock.

TIA.

You stop lights and turn signals aren't on constantly like your headlights so the higher wattage will be fine. A lot ppl here run that setup and no problems..
