Bulbs Numbers

I would like to swap out some of my stock bulbs on my 2k3 to better match the HID's. I know that the high beam is 9005 and the fog light is H3. Could anyone tell me what the bulbs are for #1 and #2? I think #1 is a 1156 and #2 is 1157??? Also, would Piaa Xtreme Whites be a good match? Thanks for the help. *Note* I did try a seach but had no luck with a illustration.

I looked there before I posted. The only thing I saw was. I want to change the light bulbs on my car. What do I look for?. Don't think those apply.

You're in luck... I just changed my #1 and #2. The upper lamp uses a wedge type 194 or 168 bulb. I've got Polarg M4 Hyperwhites (type 194) there. I'll be switching them to PIAA Xtreme Whites shortly to match the rest of the front end. The lower lamp uses a 7440 bulb and mine now has the PIAA Xtreme White version installed. The rear turns also use the 7440 while the brake lights use the 7443 (dual filament).

HTH.

Because I like it BETTER that way. I did check the color side by side before deciding to go with the PIAAs. Bottom line: my car, my discretionary $$$... that's WTF.

Geez, just tryin' to help the guy out...

No pics... sorry. Several posts up there's a url with another guy's max with lot's of comparison pics. To my eye it's just a cleaner color, also a bit brighter - none of the yellowish color of the stock bulb.

What can I say... I just like it better.

55watts....anything higher, and you'll fry the harness. an example would be the piaa extreme white h3's part #15255. hope that helps!
