I was wondering if anyone knows how to get the trunk liner out. i want to replace my backup lights and i am not able to get to them. i undid the screw but am not able to take the liner out from underneath the plastic by the trunk latch.

I have read someone's post before that "the trunk liner isn't something you want to mess with unless you have nothing better to do". Evidently it is very invasive...have to dismantle the entire trunk.

I was able to get to the reverse light today. I had to pop off the plastic by the edge of the trunk. there was a anchor under there too. thankx for your help...

umm...it took me about 10 minutes to undo all the trunk liner around the bulbs...since then i have changed turn signal bulbs at least 10 times and it is very easy to do...since you have already figured it out i won't post instructions...once they come out w/ altezzas, install is gonna be a ***** because i heard you have to take a hairdryer to it to break the seal...and then do the same thing once the new lights are on to create a new seal
