whats with optima batteries?

whats with optima batteries?

are they lighter? somehow give a little more power? why do i see so many on tricked out cars?

Yup, exactly that! Optimas have been known to give an avg of 11hp and as much as 31hp! Its crazy!

But really, they are seen in so many cars because they are so dang powerful. Most people with an aftermarket speaker setup use them. I believe the yellow top is like 650 or 700 cold crank amps. Thats alot!

I got one, on my stereo and lights no longer dim at 1/2 power. (that was a problem at first)

Most ppl switch over to the Optima because there is more cranking power and the drain on it is much better. You can have a yellow optima on for hrs with your stereo vs a stock battery. And IMO it's a lil lighter to in weight
