Hate 'em. Just hate 'em.
Seriously, they're great summer tires. But next time you want some advice, you may want to ask BEFORE you make a purchase decision, not after. Just a thought . . .

I've got about 3,000 miles on mine - I love them so far. Best rain tire I've ever owned, by far. They're very sensitive to tire pressure changes, though - keep a good gauge handy.

I put them on the wife's car a few months ago. Wet and Dry traction in excellent. The only complaint i have is that the sidewalls are way to soft. Steering and body movement is mushy. Any of you have this experience?

I just put those on my Max 2 weeks ago. With all the rain lately in PA, the tires have been great. Wet and dry traction are awesome. I got the 245/40/18s and would get them again. I run my tires at 32 all around, so I don't think the sidewalls seem "soft". Check my homepage for pics of the wheel/tires on my max.

I noticed the same thing when I put the tires on - the steering response was not what I expected for a 40 series tire. Adding another 2 pounds up front was all it took to make a huge difference in handling. (That's what I meant above when I suggested the tires are very sensitive to pressures.)
I autox'd for years and never noticed as dramatic an improvement in response with such a small change in air pressure on any other tire.

Sorry i didn't mention this before hand but she is running 55 series tires. I went from stock 31psi to 36psi and it still didn't help much. It just feels strange after driving the Max and then hopping in her car. O'well. They still hold the road like no tomorrow.
