I understand what the FrankenCar intake does, and the changes it makes... but what is that until actually called? It's not a ColdAir but it's more than just a filter kit b/c it also contains the midpipe. I've seen people reference it as a WAI and a BAI... what do the W and B mean?

Just curious... I'm just trying to kill time while I wait for mine to show up.

 

I believe WAI is Warm Air Intake, not sure what BAI is.

And regarding how long it takes for delivery...I emailed Steve last week and he said he is expecting the Apexi filters to show up some time this week! He said it will be the first shipment they have recieved from Apexi in 4 months.

Someone correct me if im wrong...but i think the Frankencar can technically be called a short-ram intake...i think thats what it is anyway.

 

is it true that it will add 8-13.5 hp??? it is the same thing as the stillen which only adds maybe 1-3.

 

The Stillen doesn't have a big midpipe does it?

 

CAI- cold air intake
WAI- warm air intake
BAI- Berk (sp?) intake
GAB- ghetto air box mod
