Is a custom dash the only way????

well i have the bose in dash six disk changer and it looks like the only way im going to put my head unit in is to get a custom made dash kit....anyone know of a place that has dash kits for an 03 with the in dash 6disk bose??? anything would be great thanks

u'll need a gxe air vent....it'll have the air vent as well as a cut out the will extend down if ur goin to go with an after market unit. Hopefully i'm explaining it right.

I used the SCOCSHE kit on my 02 with the bose system. Should work for you too...http://scosche.com/scosche/installation/kits/NN1494.asp

The GXE double din dash kit is supposidly the best match, but I'm not sure if that holds true for the Titanium interrior. Also, it's like $80.

2 alternatives are the kits sold by www.crutchfield.com or Scosche (I think available at www.cardomain.com). The Scoshe kit is better than the crutchfield. Both of them are around $10 - $15.

All the kits give the ability to install a single-din receiver which is what most of them are.

Search on the .Org in the audio forum and I'm sure you'll get a bunch of hits.
