I went to a party on saturday. Where two guys I know have some fixed up civics. One has a Si with an exhaust and Intake. the other has a 89 civic hatchback with a Integra GSR engine with an LS block with an intake and exhaust.

They were talkin trash, about how many cars they had whooped. we talked a little and then the guy with the civic with the GSR engine wanted to race. So we went for $20.00 and both of us had a passenger. we started at a red light. we both had an ok launch, but I bounced of the rev limmiter on 2nd gear. He took lead infront, I could see his tailights, and he kept it until over 100mph. we went to another red light. this time, good launch and I took him by third gear and never let up. I had him behind all the way till over 105mph. He could not belive it.
so we switched passengers and did it from the same light as the 1st race. again, good launch, but a little wheel hop. but by 3rd gear I had the lead. adn never looked back.

<B> Next, ask him to race in the turns...if it's a B18A with a GSR head it's a heavy motor and will induce A LOT of understeer in an '88-91 CRX/Civic. he'll just plow through all the turns. Good kill. A B18 in an EF should turn mid 15s, an EF with LS-VTEC should be high 14s. </B>

 

SCCA Solo2 just had to say that your windshield banner looks cool, especially since in your case it isn't a yellow racing stripe if you know what I mean. Nice ride.
