Tranny Problem

I got a 00 SE and at 48k mi the car was heitating while shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear, and also when stepping on the gas there was a 5-7 sec delay before the car would begin to move ie to change lanes. SO i brought it in to my local dealership, turns out there is a sb on the problem so they replaced a selenoid. Second I picked it up the check engine light was on. So I had to drop it off AGAIN and they replaced my ecu. Problem was still there, but I needed my car. So about a week later im driving and the tranny completly blows, I had no 1st 2nd or reverse gears. So I CAREFULLY drove home and had to take it back to the dealership the next morning. They have had my car now for over a week. I should have it back by tomorrow with a brand new tranny. I MISS MY CAR. I'm just glad they didnt try to give me the bs that my mods caused it to go.

I hate to be the barer of bad news but it will most likely be refurbed tranny, not new. Still good, that they didn't run you around.

wow, I really hope you guys drive it like ya stole it. My car had 42K on it when I bought it, and it now has 52K problem free miles. I've changed the fluid once so far, and plan to do it roughly every 15K miles.
