Cost to get FSB and RSB installed.

I have a 03 SE and I want to have these 2 pieces installed.

What would be a fair price?

I have no mechanical ability so I am forced to have someone else do it.

thanx

You shouldn't need any real mechanical ability to do these mods. Ask online in the regional forum. If you were neer me, I would do it for lunch and beer.

maximamaybe,

any chance you live in the NYC area.

I'd gladly buy you a steak dinner for the install and a chance to check out your car.

Yeah really, you in the Philly area maximamaybe? I got a case of Heineken waiting for ya buddy!

Edit - Just saw that you are in Texas. Maybe you could start a coast-to-coast trip, installing suspension parts for ORG members in exchange for beer and food along the way!

The FSTB is no problem to install, infact there is an org memeber that just did a How to on installing one, check out the sticky threads.

the RSB is a little bit more diffcult then the FSTB but if you really lazy or dont know what you doing, just take it to the local shop

There are tons of guys up there in the NYC area. You don't need a 5th gen owner to do it for you, anyone who has done this can hook you up. Just hit your regional forum and ask someone to help, you will get lots of responses. Some nice cars up there too.

I saw with in one year, you'll be installing your own super charger or nitrous setup. maybe replacing your own clutch

In case you do have to have the RSB installed....i paid $45 to have a Progress rear sway bar installed on my 03 SE 2 weeks ago.

I have no tools to speak of and no mech abilities either and i installed my FSTB myself. Come on you CAN do it ! LOL

I'm feeling encouraged.

I might have to break out my pliers for the FSB.

I can take apart and build a PC maybe it's time to tackle the Max.

Uh, just from the safety standpoint....how did you torque the nuts back down?

I would help if you were near. We have a car clun called Dallas Nissan Enthusiasts that has Mod meets. It is actually very cool. I am sure that someone local can do it for beer or a pretty cheap price. I would also say a Mechanic could do it in less than 1 hour. I would pay no more than 75 - 100 total

I will install FSTB RSB and springs for a nice steak dinner.

mass_chaos, if you are familiar with pc's then working with the Max is not much different. The bolts are just a little bigger. The only problem I could see you having is a lack of tools (NICE ratchet, jack, jack stands, lead pipe, etc.).

Do not pay anyone to install the FSTB. This is the easiest mod ever. Open the hood, look at the strut towers and look at the fstb. It really is a 10 minute install including 5 minutes of tweaking.

I borrowed a torque wrench and tightened the suckers down to 35.

Pliers, no. Wrenches, yes.

My FSTB installation guide write-up is here...

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....3&pagenumber=7

if you want to take a look. It's very easy to do. The RSB is pretty simple too, but it just takes a bit of muscle sometimes.

Good luck. Peace.
