Found quick fix for inaccurate ambient temp. sensor

Have the Auto AC/Heating unit. Today noticed the ambient temp reading was off (about 10 deg. too low). Took the sensor out (its the black thing attached to the lower front of the radiator on the passanger side. You can see it if you look through the bottom of the front grill to the left)

Anyway, found dirt inside the connection! Sprayed the outside of the sensor and both sides of the connection with electric lubricant (from Home Depot..CRC 2-26). Plugged it back in and the temp reading was accurate!

Of note, when you check the Ambient Temp with the sensor unplugged the display reads -22 degrees.

Hope this helps someone else!
