The O2-03 looks better. I dont belive any1 has ran a 6th gen at the track as of yet, but should still be in the higher 14's with traction any auto 3.5 can hit the 13's...

Re: 2003se auto vs 2004 se auto?

Until I see a couple of (actual) timeslips for the 04, I'll have to go w/ the 02/03. I'm not convinced (yet) of much of a horsepower increase (if any) and the 04 is definately heavier. Nissan no longer holds much credibility in hp ratings.

I would be willing to risk some braggin rights on a run, w/ my 2k2. (Plus, any 04 engine would have to still be a little green...)

Don't get me wrong, they're plenty fast, and "may" also have a more efficient tranny, but after "THE GREAT NISSAN HP DIBACLE" I'll believe it, when I see it.

I do like the 04 back seat console though, nice touch...

I was at the meet in orlando this past weekend and I asked studman this same question of which is faster since he has a 2k2 and a 2k4. He said without question that the 2k4 was slower.

An auto with flawless traction dipping in the 13's, I find that very hard to believe.

WTF are you talking about? No stock 02/03 can do 13's in the 1/4. Well, it could with a totally gutted interior and a total weight removal program done to it, but not with any type of "streetable" interior.

I remember reading someone got into the 13's with a stock 2k2 6-spd on slicks.
