Theft and the A33
I remember when I got my car, the dealers told me that our cars have a security system in which only the key can start the car, and there is no way to hot-wire it. I was just wondering if anyone with a 2000+ max has gotten their car stolen. Trying to see how good the security systems are.

If someone wants your car they will take it.
The good news is that joy-riding kiddies, probably, won't take your ride. If you loose it, chances are good that it is gone for good! It's taken by a pro with a key-cracker sort of thingy or simply put on a towing. Remember that the Max doesn't have motion, impact, level sensors. Only door-handle and door-opening, hood-opening, trunk opening sensors.
I don't know about you but if my ride is stolen I don't want to find it. Beaten, clutch slipped, gears ground.... Never gets done on issurance. If it is a write off, especially if you are under the 'replacement value' period, you REALLY don't want to find it.
