Roughness accelerating when cold.

Ever since I bought my car in Nov, I've had a roughness/skipping when accelerating when it is cold. I'm not talking about flooring it when I just start it up, but just casually driving. It happens all the way up to 3k or 3.5k in all gears. A few minutes after when the engine is warm, all is well, and she drives like she should.

This weekend, I Simple Greened my engine bay, and cleaned a re-oiled my K&N hoping that maybe that would fix it.

I change the oil every 3k with Castrol GTX 5-30 and use Bosch filters.
I always run 91+ octane and never abuse it. I've got 50k on it now.

Two things come to mind that could cause this. The infamous Coil Packs that plagued early 2k's and the TSB about Fuel Cutoff at low rpms. I would like to take it to dealer so they can see what revision ECU I am running and update it. Do you think they would do this even though I'v never had a CEL? (knock on wood). Also...is there a test I can do to see if one of the coil packs is acting up when it is cold?

If you have any other suggestions, feel free to post 'em. Thanks

I have the same problem. I had the update ECU programming and also the ignition coil replaced, and it doesn't help at all... it only happen to me when it's extremely cold outside.

Mine does it in 90 degree weather, but only when it is first started up.
Im tempted to take it in to a dealer to have them check it, but I dont wanna but the stock intake back on. I know they will blame in on the Frank, but the thig is it was doing that even before the intake.
