I know most of you with Injen intake probably have used another kind of cone filter to go with your Injen intake. Do you guys have any picture of the replacement filter on the Injen intake? Btw, how big is the diameter of the intake on Injen for 2k2 (2k3) Maxima?

I dont have any pics but I replaced mine with a K&N that was the same length but was one inch larger in diameter at both the top and bottom of the cone. The pipe diameter is 3".

 

Does K&N feel different from Injen filter? Sound? Performance? overall? any comments?

 

I'm not sure if it's just in my head or not, but it feels to be giving a bit more power than the injen filter, sound level has not changed, overall I'm pleased with it.
