Projector Style Headlight....
I know some of you guys got the Angel Eye setup which is good, I like it, but what would be more better for light output, would be Projector headlights.... Would it be possible to do a projector style setup in our headlights? Maybe Q45...gun-cannen.... naw, but for real, a projector headlight for our 2k2/2k3/ 2kand2k1convertto2k2/2k3 setup would project our HID lighting better... check out S2000,AudiTT,etc, they have Projector setup, which emits the light better...
Could any of you setup up a photoshop pic. of our headlight 2k2-up, with projector in it... that would be nice...

The beam pattern on the 02+ HID headlight is pretty good already.
The only difference in lighting you would notice would be either more foreground illumination or down the road lighting, and that would all depend on which projectors you retrofitted into the housing. Putting projectors in at this point though would pretty much be for aesthetics only.

but just look at the light a projector emits... i have been doing some research on this and came up with this,...
projector emits better lighting, and the reflector type lights do not emit like the projector style...
here is the link to what I am talking about:

that is another link...someone needs to do this mod... we can already get our light open and get the reflector out, I think the next step is to put projectors in...

Not all projectors necessarily put out better lighting. You need to study more about what kind of lighting you want, and what kind of projectors will get you there. Certain projectors outperform certain reflector based lighting and vice versa. And as I said before, it also largely depends on what type of lighting you want. More foreground lighting, down the road lighting etc.
Those links are informative, but I think this link will better suit your needs:

I think the guy that did that CRX also posts at the forum on the FAQ site there. You'll also find links to many many more retro's.
You also have to remember, most people retrofit projectors because they're a single contained unit, and tend to be much easier to transplant into an alternate headlight rather than an OEM HID reflector.

Are you referring to the brightness of the projector fogs to headlights?...There were no projected headlights there...only fogs, which were brighter than the headlights....
Projectors just throw the lumens farther out...from what I've noticed, the Maxima and some Lexus models have some of the brightest HIDs on the road....
Also, last I noticed, I get a pretty evenly spread beam in front...I really don't think projectors will make the lighting any better...
Next time you're on the road, try to pay attention to the lighting from some German/European cars, then look and Japanese cars...It seems like the Japanese cars have better lighting....
Just my 2 bits....
