Did 2002 ever have 5spd?

IIRC, the 6spd tranny wasn't available when the 2002 first came out.

Did they sell the 5sp, or did they just wait not make any manuals until the 6spd was ready?

its funny because the 2002 altima with either 2.5 or 3.5 has 5 speed

they made a 6spd from the beginning of the 2k2s. you just couldnt get a 6spd with HLSD until around December or January (about 5 months after the 2k2s came out)
